Our story is rooted in the fertile lands of Malatya, where our family has been dedicated to apricot cultivation for over half a century. In the last quarter of the 20th century, as Malatya’s apricot production flourished, a visionary step was taken to harness the full potential of the apricot kernel.

With modest capital but immense faith, Beysan was established as a small family enterprise. At that time, Malatya’s total apricot production was 30,000 tons, with only 1,500 tons of kernel output.

The first step toward industrialization was taken by merging traditional expertise with modern technology. We transitioned to mass production within a new facility consisting of 2,000 m² of open space and 1,000 m² of indoor manufacturing area.

After securing our position as the domestic market leader, Beysan expanded its horizons and successfully launched its export operations, marking our official entry into the international arena.

To meet growing global demand, we broke ground on a massive infrastructure project. Spanning 40,000 m² of total area, Beysan officially became the world’s largest and most advanced apricot kernel processing enterprise.

By 2009, our reach expanded to 20 countries. In 2012, we reached a monumental processing volume of 6,000 tons of kernels and 25,000 tons of shells, solidifying our status as the sector’s undisputed industrial leader.

We reinforced our commitment to global excellence by achieving the most prestigious international certifications: BRCGS, Organic EU & USDA, HACCP, ISO, HALAL, and KOSHER.

Beysan achieved a world first by investing in a specialized Apricot Kernel Oil Facility. As the only industrial oil mill globally dedicated exclusively to apricot kernels, we began providing high-purity oils to the global flavor and cosmetic industries.

Expanding our expertise in natural raw materials, we added Gallnuts to our product portfolio, establishing a strong presence in the global Pharmaceutical, Chemical, and Leather Tanning industries.

In the wake of the devastating earthquake that impacted our home city of Malatya, Beysan demonstrated unwavering resilience. Rather than slowing down, we chose to invest in a greener future. We constructed new, state-of-the-art industrial buildings, increasing our capacity to 37,000 tons per year. Simultaneously, we covered our facility roofs with high-efficiency solar panels, producing 200% of our own electricity consumption.

Marking a new era of high-tech valorization, we invested in a state-of-the-art facility for Bitter Almond Essential Oil, serving the most sophisticated tiers of the Global Flavour, Fragrance, and Pharmaceutical markets.

Today, Beysan stands as the undisputed global leader in its sector. Since our foundation, we have successfully upcycled over 474,000 tons of in-shell apricot kernels. With a diversified supply chain spanning 14 different origins and exports to over 50 nations, we continue to engineer a sustainable future through natural excellence and a resilient spirit.
